Overview

• Chairing the 49th PRAGATI session, the prime minister reviewed eight infrastructure projects spanning mines, railways, water resources, industrial corridors and power.
• The reviewed works stretch across 15 states and union territories with a combined investment exceeding ₹65,000 crore.
• He directed central and state officials to institutionalise regular, results-focused reviews to clear bottlenecks and keep timelines on track.
• He linked on-time delivery to gains in ease of living for people as well as ease of doing business for enterprises.
• The government highlighted PRAGATI’s ICT-enabled interface as a tool to fast-track projects through real-time coordination between the Centre and states.
