- Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative postage stamp and a Rs 100 coin at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi to mark the RSS centenary.
- The coin features the national emblem on one side and, for the first time on Indian currency, an image of Bharat Mata in varada mudra with a lion and a swayamsevak bowing; it also bears the RSS motto.
- The postage stamp depicts RSS swayamsevaks’ participation in the 1963 Republic Day Parade, highlighting a historic association cited at the ceremony.
- Modi praised the RSS as a force for nation-building and said contemporary challenges such as economic dependence, efforts to fracture unity and demographic change are being addressed by the government and through an RSS roadmap.
- RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale credited ‘unwavering’ public support for the Sangh’s 100-year journey and announced a year-long drive to reach every household under the Panch Parivartan agenda, as senior dignitaries including Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Rekha Gupta attended.
