Overview
- At Jharsuguda, the Prime Minister commissioned more than 97,500 4G towers worth about Rs 37,000 crore, including over 92,600 BSNL sites, with 18,900 funded via Digital Bharat Nidhi to reach roughly 26,700 unconnected villages.
- The new telecom sites are solar-powered and are described as India’s largest green telecom cluster, serving over 20 lakh additional subscribers.
- He flagged off the Amrit Bharat Express between Berhampur and Udhna (Surat) and dedicated or launched rail works including the Sambalpur–Sarla flyover, Koraput–Baiguda doubling, and the Manabar–Koraput–Gorapur section.
