  • On day one of a two‑day visit, the Prime Minister inaugurated and dedicated multi‑sector works worth roughly Rs 5,400–5,477 crore across rail, roads, power distribution and urban development.
  • He dedicated railway upgrades worth over Rs 1,400 crore — including doubling of the 65 km MehsanaPalanpur line and gauge conversions — and launched new passenger and car‑carrier train services.
  • Power distribution projects exceeding Rs 1,000 crore were opened in Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Gandhinagar to modernise the grid and reduce outages.
  • At the Nikol event, he handed over 1,449 houses and 130 shops built under PMAY (Urban) at Ramapir Tekra and urged buyers and businesses to choose Indian‑made goods, vowing to protect small entrepreneurs and farmers.
  • He is scheduled on Tuesday to visit Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur plant to flag off e‑Vitara exports to over 100 countries and to inaugurate localised production of hybrid battery electrodes at the TDS JV, advancing India’s EV supply chain.
