Overview
- Modi inaugurated a ₹450 crore terminal at Thoothukudi Airport to raise annual capacity from 300,000 to over 2 million passengers with energy-efficient design features.
- Two highway projects were dedicated—a ₹2,350 crore four-lane expansion of NH-36’s Sethiyathope–Cholapuram stretch and a ₹200 crore six-lane upgrade of the NH-138 port road—to cut travel times and boost cargo flow.
