Overview
- During Thursday’s visit to Banswara, the prime minister will inaugurate or lay foundations for projects totaling over ₹1.22 lakh crore, with about ₹1,08,468 crore earmarked for Rajasthan.
- Energy plans include a ₹42,000 crore Mahi‑Banswara nuclear plant, a 590 MW renewable project in Bikaner worth ₹8,500 crore, and 15.5 GW of new transmission capacity across western Rajasthan costing ₹13,183 crore.
- Solar additions to be inaugurated comprise 1,400 MW of capacity and the 925 MW Nokh Solar Park in Phalodi at ₹10,710 crore, plus 895 MW of decentralised solar under PM‑KUSUM‑C costing ₹3,132 crore.
