Overview

• Urban works worth Rs 2,548 crore in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar include in-situ redevelopment of 1,449 homes and 130 shops at Ramapir Tekra under PMAY, civic upgrades, and a Rs 27-crore AUDA drinking water scheme for 10 Daskroi villages.
• Railway projects exceeding Rs 1,400 crore feature doubling of the 65 km Mehsana–Palanpur section and gauge conversion of the Kalol–Kadi–Katosan Road and Becharaji–Ranuj lines to expand capacity and ease the Ahmedabad–Delhi corridor.
