  • Urban works worth Rs 2,548 crore in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar include in-situ redevelopment of 1,449 homes and 130 shops at Ramapir Tekra under PMAY, civic upgrades, and a Rs 27-crore AUDA drinking water scheme for 10 Daskroi villages.
  • Railway projects exceeding Rs 1,400 crore feature doubling of the 65 km MehsanaPalanpur section and gauge conversion of the Kalol–Kadi–Katosan Road and Becharaji–Ranuj lines to expand capacity and ease the AhmedabadDelhi corridor.
  • The Sardar Patel Ring Road around Ahmedabad is slated for six-laning at a cost of Rs 1,624 crore under a two-phase hybrid annuity model with controlled access.
  • Modi will flag off a Katosan Road–Sabarmati passenger service and inaugurate a car-loaded freight train from Becharaji to strengthen industrial logistics under the PM Gati Shakti plan.
  • On August 26, he is scheduled to open Maruti Suzuki’s e‑Vitara electric-vehicle production line at Hansalpur, signaling a manufacturing push in the EV segment.
