Overview
- Before heading to Banswara for a 1:45 pm address, the prime minister will inaugurate the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Greater Noida.
- Officials say projects worth about ₹1.22 lakh crore will be inaugurated or launched nationwide, with roughly ₹1.08 lakh crore directed to Rajasthan.
- The energy slate includes the ₹42,000 crore Mahi-Banswara nuclear project (2,800 MW), a 590 MW renewable project in Bikaner, and 15.5 GW of new transmission capacity across Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sirohi, Nagaur and Bikaner.
- Modi will inaugurate 1,400 MW of solar projects and the 925 MW Nokh Solar Park, roll out 895 MW of decentralised plants under PM-KUSUM-C, and launch feeder-level solarisation of 3,517 MW under the scheme across multiple states.
- The programme features 15 drinking-water projects worth ₹5,884 crore and key irrigation works, new road, flyover and bridge projects with urban sewerage and water upgrades, the virtual flag-off of two Vande Bharat trains and the Udaipur–Chandigarh Express, plus a 250-bed hospital, an IT e-governance centre and appointment letters for about 15,000 youths.
