Modi to Launch ₹1.08 Lakh Crore Projects in Banswara on Thursday, Led by 2,800 MW Nuclear Plant

The trip marks his 16th visit to Rajasthan in 22 months, signaling the state's central place in the government's development push.

  • Solar rollouts to be inaugurated comprise 1,400 MW of projects plus the 925 MW Nokh Solar Park in Phalodi at ₹10,710 crore, alongside 895 MW of PM-KUSUM decentralized plants costing ₹3,132 crore.
  • Three Vande Bharat services will be flagged off, connecting BikanerDelhi Cantt, JodhpurDelhi Cantt, and UdaipurChandigarh.
  • Non-energy works span 15 drinking-water projects at ₹5,884 crore, key irrigation upgrades of ₹2,365 crore, seven road projects costing ₹1,758 crore, urban sewerage and water supply at ₹226 crore, new substations, an IT e-governance centre for ₹140 crore, and a 250-bed hospital in Bharatpur for ₹128 crore.
