Modi to Inaugurate Combined Commanders’ Conference in Kolkata on Sept. 15

The three-day forum will seek to reconcile service differences over theater commands.

  • The conference will include interactive sessions to bring field perspectives into high-level discussions and will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, CDS Gen Anil Chauhan and the three service chiefs; discussions are also expected to touch on indigenisation and the proposed Sudarshan Chakra air and missile defence concept.
