Overview
- Final pre-ceremony rites concluded on Nov. 22 with aarti and flag worship led by chief host Dr. Anil Mishra after rituals that began Nov. 20.
- The saffron banner bearing a Sun symbol is slated for the temple’s main shikhara on Vivah Panchami, a date sacred to Ram and Sita.
- Authorities canceled pilgrim bookings within 200 meters of the shrine for Nov. 24–25 and will close Ram Path from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., allowing only designated vehicles for invited guests.
- Ayodhya airport prepared parking for 40–80 chartered aircraft, about 100 additional CISF personnel, and dedicated lounges including a special lounge for the Prime Minister.
- Nearly 6,000 invitees are expected, with entry scheduled between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m., and the trust has secured 1,600 hotel rooms and tent facilities as local business activity surges.
