- Running October 8–11 at Yashobhoomi, the event is organised by the Department of Telecommunications and COAI and is expecting about 150,000 visitors, 7,000 delegates and 400 exhibitors.
- Modi said India’s indigenous 4G stack is ready for export, placing the country among a small group with end-to-end capability, and noted that 1GB of wireless data now costs less than a cup of tea.
- The programme features over 1,600 technology demonstrations, more than 100 sessions and around 800 speakers across areas including 5G/6G, AI, cybersecurity, quantum and green tech.
- India’s 6G push is in focus with the International Bharat 6G Symposium, where the Bharat 6G Alliance is participating to advance standards and research.
- Scindia said three SATCOM licences have already been issued and highlighted startup funding platforms such as IMC Aspire, which aims to connect roughly 500 startups with about 300 investors alongside the Startup World Cup India edition.
