• Actor Ram Charan, APL chairman Anil Kamineni, and Archery Association of India president Virender Sachdeva met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on October 11 to celebrate the league’s first season.
• Ram Charan said on social media that he was honored by the meeting and credited the Prime Minister’s guidance with helping preserve and promote the legacy of archery.
• Founded under Kamineni’s leadership, the Archery Premier League aims to grow the sport by offering training, competition, and visibility while building a sustainable support system for athletes.
• The delegation presented Modi with a bow, and Upasana Kamineni Konidela offered a Balaji idol and traditional puja kit on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Chiranjeevi.
• Following the meeting, the group held a press conference with APL archers to share highlights from the inaugural season.
