Overview
- At Banswara, the prime minister launched and dedicated projects valued at over ₹1,22,100 crore spanning energy, water, transport and social infrastructure.
- The centrepiece is ASHVINI–NPCIL’s Mahi Banswara Atomic Power Project (4×700 MW) worth about ₹42,000 crore under India’s standardised 700 MW ‘fleet mode’.
- Green energy moves include inaugurations or foundations for 1,400 MW of solar, the 925 MW Nokh Solar Park, and transmission corridors enabling about 15.5 GW of renewable evacuation across western Rajasthan.
- Water and public works featured prominently with ₹20,833 crore in water resources initiatives, ₹5,884 crore in drinking water schemes across 11 districts, road and bridge works, a 250‑bed Bharatpur hospital and an IT e‑governance centre in Jaipur.
- Modi also virtually flagged off three trains — Bikaner–Delhi Cantt and Jodhpur–Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat services and the Udaipur–Chandigarh Express — and distributed 15,000 government appointment letters.
