Overview
- At Nava Raipur, the Prime Minister opened the new Vidhan Sabha complex and unveiled a life-size statue of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- He dedicated the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum, launched its portal and the Aadi Shourya e-book, and unveiled a horse-mounted statue of the freedom fighter.
- The package featured major energy moves including the ER–WR grid interconnection adding 1,600 MW transfer capacity, the 489 km Nagpur–Jharsuguda natural gas pipeline, HPCL’s new Raipur oil depot, and nine substations under the RDSS.
- Foundation stones were laid for a ₹3,150-crore Pathalgaon–Kunkuri greenfield highway, upgrades to NH-130D and NH-130C, two Smart Industrial Areas in Janjgir–Champa and Rajnandgaon, and a Pharmaceutical Park in Nava Raipur.
