Overview
- The Prime Minister spent about 45 minutes interacting on the three-deck MV Charaidew 2 after boarding from the Guwahati Gateway Terminal via a floating bridge.
- River Police, NDRF and SDRF patrolled the stretch, and ferry services on the Brahmaputra were halted for two days for security.
