• Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said the prime minister has agreed in principle to visit on September 27 to address a public meeting in Berhampur.

• Commerce and Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena has begun on-ground preparations, and Pujari plans to be in Berhampur from September 15.

• A drive to plant 75 lakh saplings is scheduled for September 17 to mark Modi’s 75th birthday, and this would be his sixth visit to Odisha in 15 months after a June 20 trip for the state government’s first-anniversary events.
