  • The Ministry of Defence signed a memorandum of understanding with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation to establish the facility in Tiruchirappalli
  • The project carries a ₹400 crore outlay under the Defence Testing Infrastructure Scheme launched by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
  • A special purpose vehicle led by Micro Labs alongside TIDCO, BEML, HAL and Vaidheswaran Industries will cover the remaining 25 percent of project funding
