Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Film Set for North American Theatrical Release

The compilation movie, directed by Evangelion's Kazuya Tsurumaki, will debut in North American theaters on February 28, 2025.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, a compilation film of the first three episodes of the upcoming anime series, premiered in Japan on January 17, 2025.
GKIDS has acquired the North American distribution rights, marking the first Gundam show to debut theatrically in the region.
The film, a collaboration between Sunrise and Studio Khara, features creative talent from Neon Genesis Evangelion, including Kazuya Tsurumaki and Hideaki Anno.
Set in an alternate timeline, the story follows high school student Amate Yuzuriha, who pilots the GQuuuuuuX Gundam in underground mecha duels, alongside a mysterious boy named Shuji.
Char Aznable, a legendary character from the Gundam franchise, returns in a reimagined role, piloting a red Gundam in this alternate universe.
