• The MLS All-Star Skills Challenge concluded Tuesday with MLS players taking three of five events, including shooting and passing, over Liga MX competitors.
• The MLS vs. Liga MX All-Star Game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT on July 23 at Austin’s Q2 Stadium, following the July 22 Skills Challenge.
• André Jardine’s 30-player Liga MX roster was assembled through coach nominations and Balón de Oro votes and Nico Estévez’s 26-player MLS team was chosen by players, fans, media, the coach and Commissioner Don Garber.
• Free-to-air Canal 6 (Multimedios) and Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass will broadcast both the Skills Challenge and All-Star Game across Mexico, the United States and international markets.
• Lionel Messi’s participation remains unconfirmed and could trigger a one-game suspension under MLS rules, and Liga MX stars Sergio Ramos and James Rodríguez will miss the match to stay with their clubs.
