  • Federal, state and many local government offices will be closed Monday, with confirmed closures in places such as Harris County, the City of Houston and Texas state agencies.
  • USPS will pause regular mail delivery, limiting service to Priority Mail Express and Same Day Package Delivery, while an internal operations notice indicates Amazon deliveries continue Sunday night through Monday.
  • FedEx will operate with modified service and hours, whereas UPS will not provide pickup or delivery for the holiday and many locations will be closed.
  • Most bank branches, including Bank of America, Chase and Wells Fargo, will be closed though ATMs remain available, and the NYSE and NASDAQ will shut for the day with normal trading resuming Tuesday.
