- Six outgoing members, including Jack Flaherty, Ian Happ, and Lucas Giolito, completed their terms after advocating unsuccessfully earlier this year for changes in union leadership.
- The elections took place during the MLBPA's annual meetings, with representatives from all 30 MLB teams participating in the voting process.
