MLB Unveils 2026 Spring Training Slate With WBC Tune-Ups and Expanded Prospect Showcase

  • Spring action opens Feb. 20 with a limited set of games and the first full league-wide slate follows on Feb. 21.
  • MLB scheduled 28 exhibitions against World Baseball Classic teams on March 3–4, including Giants–Team USA, Red SoxPuerto Rico, Brewers–Great Britain, OriolesNetherlands, BravesColombia and CubsItaly.
  • The third Spring Breakout runs March 19–22 in an expanded two-day format, with matchups such as Braves prospects vs. Yankees prospects and Brewers prospects facing the Mariners and A’s on separate dates.
  • Crossover and special-site games feature the A’s hosting the Angels in Las Vegas on March 7–8 and the Yankees visiting the Cubs in Mesa on March 23–24, with the Tigers playing the Rockies in Scottsdale those same days.
  • Teams scheduled late-March tune-ups at regular-season parks from March 22–24, including Dodgers–Angels and an Orioles–Nationals home-and-home, before Opening Night on March 25 (Yankees at Giants) and Opening Day on March 26.
