MLB Sets Plans For Historic Series in South Korea Between Dodgers and Padres in 2024

MLB is expected to open the 2024 season with a pair of games between the Dodgers and Padres in Seoul.
The series would mark MLB's first regular-season games in South Korea.
The Padres recently played in MLB's first games in Mexico, facing the Giants in Mexico City, while the Dodgers and Padres have an emerging rivalry and are expected to pursue Japanese star Shohei Ohtani in free agency.
The Padres have South Korean infielder Ha-Seong Kim, and Padres games are televised live in South Korea.
MLB is targeting late March for the games so the teams can return to the U.S. to continue the regular season.
