Overview
- Preseason play begins Feb. 20 with select games and expands to a full Cactus and Grapefruit League slate on Feb. 21.
- Twenty-eight exhibitions on March 3-4 will pit MLB clubs against World Baseball Classic national teams, including Giants–Team USA, Rockies–Team USA, Brewers–Great Britain, Orioles–Netherlands, Cubs–Italy, Braves–Colombia, Astros–Venezuela and Yankees–Panama.
- MLB’s third Spring Breakout prospect showcase runs March 19-22, with team events such as Braves prospects vs. Yankees, Red Sox prospects at Orioles, and Brewers prospects vs. Mariners before a matchup at the A’s.
- Neutral-site and crossover games include Yankees at Cubs in Mesa on March 23-24, Tigers at Rockies in Scottsdale the same days, and A’s–Angels at Las Vegas Ballpark on March 7-8.
- Regular-season tune-ups at MLB parks are slated for March 22-24, including the Dodgers–Angels Freeway Series, Orioles–Nationals home-and-home, Royals at Rangers, Guardians at Diamondbacks and Reds at Brewers, leading into Giants–Yankees Opening Night on March 25 and the broader Opening Day on March 26.
