MLB Names Legend Albert Pujols Special Assistant and Network Analyst

Albert Pujols has been named a special assistant by Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred.
He will advise on player relations and issues related to the Dominican Republic.
Pujols will also work as an analyst for MLB Network, appearing first on "MLB Central."
Pujols retired in 2022 after 22 MLB seasons, 3,384 hits, two World Series titles, and ranking fourth all-time with 703 home runs.
Pujols joins other former MLB stars working for the league, including Joe Torre, CC Sabathia, Cal Ripken Jr. and Ken Griffey Jr.
