Overview
- NBCUniversal will carry Sunday Night Baseball on NBC and Peacock starting in 2026, with some games shifting to a revived NBCSN when scheduling conflicts arise.
- Netflix will stream Opening Night (Yankees–Giants on March 25, 2026), the Home Run Derby, the Field of Dreams game (Twins–Phillies on Aug. 13, 2026) and all 47 games of the 2026 World Baseball Classic in Japan.
- NBC also adds an annual Opening Day primetime game (Diamondbacks–Dodgers in 2026) and other special-event windows, plus portions of Draft Day 1 and the All-Star Futures Game.
- ESPN retains a national midweek game package and gains the right to offer MLB.TV to subscribers through the ESPN app.
- Fox, TBS and Apple TV packages remain in place, and CNBC reports the new configuration reduces MLB’s rights revenue by roughly $300 million versus the prior ESPN arrangement.
