Overview

  • Under a reported framework pending signatures, ESPN would integrate MLB.TV into its direct-to-consumer platform and stream all out-of-market games, with pricing around $29.99 per month.
  • ESPN would also gain in-market streaming rights for five clubs: the Guardians, Padres, Twins, Diamondbacks and Rockies.
  • NBC/Peacock is expected to take over Sunday Night Baseball and the Wild Card round on a concurrent three-year package.
  • Netflix is expected to carry the Home Run Derby under a deal reported to run through the 2028 season.
  • The short, three-year terms are designed to stabilize distribution during the RSN downturn and align a broader rights realignment and labor talks in 2028.
