Overview
- The campaign has grown since 1994 to over 900 venues nationwide and mobilizes more than 100,000 participants and 3,000 volunteers each year
- On July 6 at Vigo’s Bouzas promenade organizers will replace the traditional group plunge with a human chain at 12:30 p.m., a firefighter-led manguerazo at 1:00 p.m. and afternoon water battles plus concerts and zumba
- Also on July 6 at 12:00 p.m. Toledo’s Escuela Central de Educación Física will host merchandise sales by Ademto, backed by the city councils of Toledo, Mora and other municipalities
- Azpeitia will join on July 8 with a stand at the local market offering specially designed ‘Mójate’ merchandise and accepting donations to support the Gipuzkoa MS association
- All funds raised will sustain vital social support and rehabilitation programs for the more than 55,000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Spain, the second leading cause of disability among young adults
