Overview

• Trenes Argentinos scheduled a full suspension of the José León Suárez and Bartolomé Mitre branches from Saturday, August 30, through Monday, September 1.
• On the Suárez branch, the shutdown supports expansion of the underpass at avenida del Fomentista between Pueyrredón and Miguelete, requiring conditioning of the track over the bridges.
• On the Bartolomé Mitre branch, crews will condition the bridge over avenida Figueroa Alcorta between Retiro and 3 de Febrero, including track removal and replacement, ballast renewal, mechanized leveling, and drain cleaning.
• The Tigre branch will run on its usual schedule during the three days, while long‑distance services from Retiro to Rosario, Córdoba, and Tucumán will not operate that weekend.
• The operator warned works could be postponed by rain and advised checking its website or app for updates, with broader network adjustments also in effect such as Roca line limits through August 31 and modified first and last trains on several AMBA services.
