Mistral AI Releases Open Source Model Outperforming OpenAI’s GPT-3.5

Unlike OpenAI, Mistral AI has chosen to open source its AI software, a decision that has been well received by the AI community.
Mixtral-8x7B is available for commercial usage under an Apache 2.0 license and can run locally on machines without dedicated GPUs.
Mistral AI's approach to releasing its models has been described as unceremonious, with the company simply posting a torrent link online without any accompanying explanation or blog post.
