Missouri Woman Charged for Poisoning Husband's Mountain Dew with Weed Killer

Michelle Peters allegedly spiked her husband's soda due to his lack of appreciation for a birthday party she organized.

Michelle Peters, 47, is facing charges of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.
Her husband began feeling ill after consuming the tainted Mountain Dew and reviewed surveillance footage.
Footage allegedly showed Peters mixing the soda with Roundup and insecticide in their garage.
Peters admitted to the poisoning, stating she was upset with her husband and should have divorced him.
She is currently held without bond at the Laclede County Detention Center.
