Missouri Teen Charged with Murder, Allegedly Shot Man 14 Times

Jackson Pierce, 18, is accused of killing Dalton Coleman, 23, and hiding the body in an air mattress; an unidentified juvenile also detained.

  • 18-year-old Jackson Pierce from St. Peters, Missouri, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 23-year-old Dalton Coleman.
  • Pierce allegedly shot Coleman 14 times during an altercation at Pierce's residence, before hiding Coleman's body in a rolled-up air mattress.
  • A witness, who had left the residence before the incident, reported the crime to the police after Pierce confessed to him over the phone.
  • Pierce and an unidentified juvenile were arrested at the scene. The juvenile's case is being handled in county family court.
  • Pierce is currently held at the St. Charles County Jail on a $1 million cash-only bond.
