Missouri Teacher Charged with Sex Crimes Involving Students

Smith is accused of offering students money, marijuana, and alcohol in exchange for sex, and sending them illicit photos via Snapchat.
The alleged incidents occurred between August 2023 and September 2024 at various locations including Smith's home and public roads.
Smith resigned from her teaching position in August 2024, and was arrested on November 12, currently held on a $250,000 bond.
The Dixon R-1 School District has cooperated with law enforcement, contacting affected families and conducting an internal investigation.
