Missouri man sentenced to life for brutal murder of woman kept in cage

Timothy Norton was sentenced to life in prison for the first-degree murder of Cassidy Rainwater.
James Phelps, Norton's co-defendant, was previously sentenced to life without parole for Rainwater's murder.
The suspects were arrested after the FBI received an anonymous tip showing photos of Rainwater caged in Phelps' property.
Rainwater was reported missing in August 2021, and her dismembered remains were found in Phelps' freezer.
Digital evidence showed Phelps and Norton had planned Rainwater's death.
