Missouri Man Sentenced to 8 Years for Attempted White House Attack Inspired by Nazi Ideology

Sai Varshith Kandula, a 20-year-old Indian national, planned the attack to overthrow the U.S. government and establish a Nazi-style dictatorship.

The attack caused $4,322 in damages but resulted in no injuries; Kandula had no weapons or explosives in his possession.
Prosecutors revealed that he planned the attack for weeks, attempting to secure armed guards and larger vehicles to carry out his objective.
Diagnosed with schizophrenia, Kandula's mental health was cited by his defense; he is expected to be deported to India after serving his sentence.
