Mississippi State Fires Head Coach Zach Arnett

Mississippi State has fired head coach Zach Arnett after a disappointing season, with the team currently standing at 4-6.
Arnett was promoted to head coach following the sudden death of Mike Leach last year, but has struggled to deliver results.
Possible replacements for Arnett include Lance Leipold from Kansas, Willie Fritz from Tulane, Jon Sumrall from Troy, and Jamey Chadwell from Liberty.
Greg Knox, MSU’s senior offensive analyst, will serve as the interim coach for the remainder of the season.
Arnett's dismissal comes a day after Texas A&M fired coach Jimbo Fisher.
