The Mississippi Lottery Official app is live as of Nov. 19 and available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Players can use their phones to scan lottery tickets to see if they are winners.
Eligible non-winning tickets can be entered directly into 2nd Chance Drawing promotions through the app.
Users can check current jackpots and winning numbers, locate nearby retailers, and access game details and odds for scratch-off and draw games.
The launch was promoted with jackpot estimates of $593 million for Powerball (cash $277.6 million), $7.3 million for Lotto America (cash $3.41 million), and $402,000 for Mississippi Match 5.
