Missionary's Wife Arrested in Angola for Husband's Murder Plot

Jackie Shroyer allegedly conspired with her lover and hired hitmen to kill her husband, Beau Shroyer, in a premeditated attack.

Beau Shroyer, a missionary from Minnesota, was killed in Angola on October 25 in what police describe as a planned murder orchestrated by his wife, Jackie Shroyer.
Jackie Shroyer is accused of hiring their security guard, Bernardino Isaac Elias, and two other men to carry out the murder for a promised $50,000.
The suspects reportedly lured Beau to a remote area by faking car trouble, where he was then stabbed to death with a knife allegedly given to the guard by Jackie.
Angolan authorities have arrested Jackie, Elias, and another suspect, while a third accomplice remains at large; the case is being monitored by the American Embassy.
The Shroyers moved to Angola in 2021 to work as missionaries, facing challenges such as security issues and health problems among their children.
