- Officers say Foster is a keen walker who visits churches and may have travelled long distances since he was last seen.
- Police believe he may have passed through the Doncaster area on Tuesday July 7 and now think he could be walking to the Kent coast.
- Foster is described as white, about 185cm tall, slim, with shoulder-length brown hair; he was last seen wearing a red long-sleeved top, blue jeans, trainers and a bandana and was carrying a backpack that contained clothing.
- North Yorkshire Police have alerted a wide range of regional forces and British Transport Police and ask anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference 12260126753 or to call 999 for immediate sightings.
