Missing UK Teen Alex Batty Found in France After Six Years

Alex Batty, a British teenager who disappeared six years ago, was found in France after living a nomadic lifestyle with his mother and grandfather.
Batty was found by a motorist in Revel, France, looking lost and haggard. He had been living in alternative communities in Spain, Morocco, and France.
Batty's mother, Melanie, is believed to have left for Finland, and his grandfather, David, is believed to have died about six months ago.
Batty contacted his grandmother, Susan Caruana, his legal guardian, via Facebook after being found, expressing his desire to return home.
Batty is currently at a young person's center in Toulouse and is expected to return to the UK with police and consular officials.
