Missing Two-Year-Old Found Unharmed in German Forest After Six-Hour Search

A coordinated effort involving 500 personnel, advanced technology, and a hunter's tip led to the safe recovery of the child near Hornberg, Baden-Württemberg.

The two-year-old boy was found approximately 1.2 kilometers from his home by a police patrol late Tuesday evening.
The child had wandered into a nearby forest after playing on his family’s property in Hornberg, Ortenaukreis.
The search operation lasted around six hours and included drones, thermal imaging cameras, rescue dogs, and a helicopter.
A hunter's wildlife camera provided the critical clue that helped locate the boy's position in the forest.
Approximately 500 people, including police, firefighters, the German Red Cross, and volunteers, participated in the search.
