Missing Remains of Turkish Airlines Passenger Located and Identified in San Mateo County

  • San Mateo County Coroner’s Office received the remains on Thursday and confirmed the deceased as 83-year-old Satyanarayana Pasupuleti.
  • Pasupuleti suffered a fatal medical emergency aboard Turkish Airlines Flight 79 over Greenland on July 13.
  • Flight 79 diverted to Chicago O’Hare International Airport for removal of the body, but Cook County officials reported no record of receiving the remains.
