Missing Pregnant Teen Sophia Franklin Found Safe in Nebraska After Two-Month Search

Gary Day, 40, who is believed to be the father of Franklin’s unborn child, was arrested and faces charges of child abduction and enticement.
Franklin, now five months pregnant, was taken to a hospital where she and her unborn baby were confirmed to be in good health.
Authorities revealed Franklin had previously stayed with Day in Arkansas for several months in 2024 without her parents' knowledge.
The case has drawn attention to issues of grooming and exploitation, as Franklin's mother alleges her daughter was brainwashed by Day.
