Missing Massachusetts Woman Found Alive After Being Trapped in Mud for Days

A 31-year-old woman from Massachusetts who had been missing for a week was found stuck in mud in Borderland State Park after hikers heard her screaming for help.
Rescuers believe she had been trapped in the mud for up to three days before being discovered.
Authorities conducted searches for the woman but were unable to locate her until hikers reported hearing cries for help coming from a swampy area of the park.
The woman was conscious and alert when found and was taken to a hospital, where she was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman's family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from friends, strangers and rescue workers during the search.
