Overview

• Deputies found Jennifer Fisher, 53, around 5:35 a.m. Thursday after multiple 911 calls reported a naked woman lying in a ditch on the 4400 block of Johnston Road.
• She told deputies she had crashed her vehicle, removed her clothing, and walked into nearby woods intending to stay there for several days.
• St. Lucie County Fire Rescue transported Fisher to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for a medical evaluation after she reported irritation from fire ant bites.
• The Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to examine how Fisher’s 2018 Acura MDX ended up partially submerged near Indrio Road and Johnston Road.
• Investigators say a teal e-bike that had been secured to Fisher’s vehicle before the crash remains unaccounted for, and she told deputies she did not have it when located.
