Missing Indiana Teen's Remains Found in Neighbor's Yard; Neighbor Charged with Murder

  • Scott, who was also Tindall's employer at his lawn mowing business, has been arrested and charged with murder, obstruction of justice, and false informing.
  • Scott allegedly confessed to strangling Tindall with his belt on June 7, the day she was last seen, and burying her body in a homemade box in his yard.
  • Scott had previously been identified as a person of interest in the case and was charged with false informing in June for allegedly lying to police about the last time he saw Tindall.
  • Tindall's mother, Shena Sandefur, said her daughter worked for Scott and that the family trusted him, describing their relationship as a bond and friendship.
