Volunteer Dive Group Sunshine State Sonar Discovers Sandra Lemire's Remains After Over a Decade of Search

Sandra Lemire, a Florida woman who disappeared in 2012, has been found dead in a submerged minivan near Disney World.
The discovery was made by volunteer dive group Sunshine State Sonar, who had been searching for Lemire since July 2022.
Lemire's son, Timothy Lemire Jr., expressed relief that his mother was not murdered or kidnapped, as the family had feared for years.
The Orlando Police Department confirmed that the minivan was connected to Lemire's missing person case, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is working on identifying the remains.
Sunshine State Sonar and the Orlando Police Department searched 63 bodies of water before finding Lemire's vehicle in a retention pond near Disney World.
