Missing Florida Woman Found After Giving Birth on NYC Subway

Jenny Saint Pierre, missing for six months, was identified after delivering her baby on a crowded Manhattan train with the help of fellow passengers.

Jenny Saint Pierre, a 25-year-old from Hallandale Beach, Florida, was reported missing in September 2024 and resurfaced on February 12, 2025, after giving birth on a New York City subway train.
The birth occurred on a southbound W train at the 34th Street-Herald Square station, where passengers assisted in delivering the baby and cutting the umbilical cord with a pocket knife.
Saint Pierre's family, who had been searching for her since her disappearance, recognized her in a viral TikTok video of the incident and confirmed her identity.
Both mother and baby, nicknamed 'Baby W' by NYC Transit officials, were transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition following the birth.
Saint Pierre's family expressed relief at her rediscovery and welcomed her and her newborn back home, though the reasons for her move to New York remain unclear.
