- WA Police confirmed Ms King was located safe and well on June 29, bringing an end to the missing-person search.
- Ms King had not been seen since June 24 and was last traced to a phone-tower ping east of Logue Brook Dam that guided search efforts.

- The search expanded to multiple sites including Mount William Tower, Lake Brockman and Logue Brook Dam and used vehicles, helicopters and SES volunteers.
- A community-led effort coordinated by Graeme Peirce involved about 50 local residents searching around Collie, Pinjarra and Boddington, and her return has eased concern in the tight-knit Darkan community where she is known as a nurse, farmer and organiser of the Darkan Sheep Fest.
